Very nice condition revolver, has bakerlite grips.
Has a few layers of suncorite paint on it, looks to have been refinished when converted.
This came out of France where it had been professionally converted to fire blanks only, barrel is plugged and vents downwards and cylinder restricted to prevent fitting of live ammo although 38 blanks fit well. This makes it a non-firearm in France.
No post war proof house markings so likely a battlefield pick up or dropped to the Maquis During WWII.
Would suit C-cat theatrical.
