On-Site Communication When selling an item on GunStuff.co.nz the seller must provide all information pertinent to that item if it is known, wherever possible. Users who list an item with no image/photo and a less-than-accurate description of the item run the risk of having their account suspended and possibly terminated if a repeat offence occurs. This is to maintain a high level of quality for all users who visit the site. The seller and buyer are not permitted to disclose personal contact information outside of the auction process itself, this includes the use of message boards and question and answer boards. Fees and User Account Credit Users who have listed an item must pay fees for the use of GunStuff's website services if the item is sold. Users attempting to circumnavigate the auction process by using the messaging or auction question system will have their account suspended and possibly terminated if it is found they have sold the item after making contact with the buyer on the GunStuff website. Users who incur fees on their GunStuff members account must pay them without delay in order to continue using the GunStuff site. Other listings which the user has on the site may be suspended if an item sells and the account runs into a negative balance; so it is advised that all members who list items should credit their account to avoid this happening. If outstanding fees are not paid within one week after the sale of an item your account may be terminated. It is in the best interests of all users of the site that fees are paid promptly to ensure continuation of services to other site users. GunStuff maintains a competitive rate of fees in order to provide the best possible advertising service to our users. Please see our site fees page for more information on fee amounts. Please note that you must have credit on your user account to be able to bid on items, use the 'Buy Now' button and list items for sale on the GunStuff website. If your user account has a zero or negative balance your bidding and listing ability will be suspended until your fees are paid. Please pay any fees or charges on the GunStuff website promptly as they are due. Off Site Listings If listing an item for sale on the GunStuff site, and also listing the same item elsewhere - the seller of that item must disclose this information in the 'Auction Details' section of the listing. This is for the benefit of all users on the GunStuff website. Failure to do so, if the item is bid on and the trade not completed because it was sold off-site to another person may result in your account being suspended or terminated.
